Wingate by Wyndham Fishkill

The breakfast offered more options than we expected, and we liked the choice of hot entrees. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. I would have liked to try the fitness area, but we were running out of time to do so.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable.

I was a little put off by the smallness of the elevator and the decor in the lobby and hallway, but when I got into my room, it was a quiet, cool airconditioned oasis with everything I needed at that moment-- a chair with a good light next to it for reading. The staff was very kind. So very convenient to Hudson Valley Shakespeare, next door to a fantastic diner, and affordably priced. I will definitely stay here again!

The beds were SO COMFORTABLE! The room we originally got, the a/c did not work, staff changed our room with no problems whatsoever, even kept us in a neighboring room to family. The waffles were amazing. The hotel is centrally located to everything. We were very pleased.

Location is great! This it the transitional area between Upstate and Downstate. There's a Cracker Barrel within walking distance, and there are none further downstate. At the intersection of route 9 and I-84. You can easily drive off in any direction from there. All services are right nearby. They only promised a continental breakfast, but it included scrambled eggs and tater tots. Room was very comfortable. Staff was great.
